Connecting individuals, families and carers affected by Muscular Dystrophy across Nigeria

Thank you for your interest in TMDCN Connect. We are delighted that you are considering joining our community.

TMDCN Connect is a peer support network created by The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign Nigeria (TMDCN) to bring together individuals living with Muscular Dystrophy, their families and carers. Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming and supportive community where members can connect, share experiences, learn from one another and access reliable information and support.

Why Connect?

Living with Muscular Dystrophy can sometimes feel isolating, but you do not have to face it alone. TMDCN Connect provides an opportunity to:

  • Connect with others who understand your journey.
  • Share experiences, practical advice and encouragement.
  • Learn about available services, resources and support.
  • Receive updates on TMDCN programmes, events, advocacy and research opportunities.
  • Build lasting friendships within a caring and inclusive community.

Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with Muscular Dystrophy for many years, TMDCN Connect is here to ensure that no one journeys alone.

Who Can Connect?

TMDCN Connect welcomes anyone whose life has been affected by Muscular Dystrophy, including:

  • Individuals living with any type of Muscular Dystrophy.
  • Parents and guardians.
  • Family members, including siblings and relatives.
  • Carers and personal assistants.
  • Bereaved family members seeking peer support.
  • Anyone supporting a loved one living with Muscular Dystrophy.
  • Individuals awaiting a diagnosis or seeking guidance.

Everyone is welcome regardless of age, gender or location.
